AUZ Case Study · Web Development
A premium security presence that earns trust before the first call.
2015 Security Services Ltd, an SIA Approved Contractor for Security Guarding and Key Holding, engaged AUZtec Innovations to replace their WordPress site with a faster, more trustworthy marketing presence. We delivered a 49-page static rebuild — glass and clay UI, mobile-first layout, verbatim Google reviews, full technical SEO, and enquiry forms that send through authenticated SMTP on the client's existing IONOS hosting.

Retire WordPress without losing trust or rankings
The existing WordPress / Elementor site was slow, costly to maintain, and exposed the usual CMS surface area. The client needed a premium, conversion-focused presence that reflected an SIA-approved guarding firm — not a template — while keeping the same domain, mailbox, and IONOS hosting, preserving Google reviews word for word, and carrying every old WordPress URL safely to a new page.
Static HTML with a native PHP mailer on IONOS
We built a maintainable Python static-site generator that emits hand-crafted HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript — no framework, no database, no third-party scripts by default. Small same-origin PHP handlers cover enquiry forms (CSRF, honeypot, time trap, rate limit), the UK threat-level proxy and optional reviews. Forms authenticate to the info@ mailbox over IONOS SMTP so delivery does not depend on the host's blocked mail() path. Old WordPress addresses 301 to the matching new pages.
Capability highlights
The engineering and design work behind the product.
49-page static rebuild
Services, sectors, credentials, careers, reviews and contact — generated from one config and a content module for consistent updates.
Glass and clay design system
Night-watch palette with glass only over moving footage, clay surfaces for stats and service cards, and editorial dark review cards.
Authenticated SMTP enquiries
Native PHP forms log in to the client mailbox and send through IONOS SMTP, with Reply-To set to the visitor.
Verbatim Google reviews
Captured reviews shown exactly as written, with relative dates removed so a static site never goes stale.
Technical SEO & redirects
Per-page meta, canonicals, Open Graph, JSON-LD, sitemap, and 301s from every old WordPress URL.
Accessibility-minded build
Mobile-first layout, reduced-motion fallbacks, keyboard-friendly controls, and WCAG-minded structure throughout.
What the build ships with
49 indexable pages on a static HTML/CSS/JS build
WordPress replaced; site runs on the client's existing IONOS hosting
Enquiry forms deliver via authenticated IONOS SMTP to [email protected]
Google reviews kept verbatim on the home page and /reviews/
301 redirects from legacy WordPress addresses to matching new pages
Technical SEO foundation: sitemap, canonicals, structured data, Open Graph
Multidisciplinary delivery, one team
The stack
- Semantic HTML5 · modern CSS · vanilla JavaScript
- Python static-site generator (Pillow asset pipeline)
- Native PHP form handlers (CSRF, honeypot, rate limit)
- Authenticated SMTP via smtp.ionos.co.uk
- IONOS Apache / PHP hosting
- Apache .htaccess redirects, CSP and caching
Accuracy note — Live on 2015security.co.uk. Form delivery depends on the info@ mailbox credentials remaining current in the server-side config. No invented traffic, lead or ranking metrics are claimed.
