The challenge

Turning product complexity into guided action

CertGuru combines a large certification catalogue, exam-specific pages, subscription packages, learner dashboards, account controls, and payment support. Static FAQs could explain individual topics but could not interpret intent, continue a multi-step choice, or send a user directly to the right application state. The solution needed to be fast before sign-in, safe around billing and account questions, unobtrusive during exams, and economical at early-stage traffic.

Our solution

A hybrid architecture built for control and extension

AskGuru handles frequent support needs through tested local intents and guided flows. It reads CertGuru’s live catalogue and package configuration, adapts navigation to authentication state, and escalates sensitive requests for human review. Unknown questions can follow a hardened Supabase Edge Function path prepared for structured OpenAI responses — with exact-origin checks, key validation, durable rate limiting, and strict schemas — while routine conversations remain fast and cost-free.
